MO-Call Technical StuffDesigned and developed by the team at Beijing Morodo, MO-Call is distributed free of charge to customers that register their mobile number, name and email address at www.mo-call.com. The MO-Call application is a public Beta software release created in Java J2ME, Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Windows Mobile Smartphone, Symbian and the RIM SDK for Blackberry. MO-Call works on over 1000 different mobiles across a wide range of manufacturers. Where possible, MO-Call has been designed to work with the least amount of fuss and button pressing. In fact, in most ‘smartphones’ the experience of making a MO-Call is the same as making an international call over a mobile network – except the cost is far less.
What’s a Beta mobile application? MO-Call Home works in 39 countries. MO-Call World works pretty much everywhere else. To be honest, we haven’t been to all the countries of the world to test MO-Call ourselves. If you do find a problem using MO-Call, let us know and we’ll do our best to fix it as quickly as possible. If you’re interested in mobile software development, we’d be very glad to hear from you. We’re always looking for ‘friendly users’ around the world who can help us test new and exciting products.
